About Us
Red Storm Basketball was born out of a clear need within the Timothy community: a dedicated feeder program that bridges elementary fundamentals and varsity aspirations. Open to boys and girls in grades 4–8, Red Storm offers a Christ‑centered environment where young athletes develop not only basketball skills but also character through teamwork, discipline, and healthy competition.

Our volunteer‑led coaching roster is complemented by two professional training partners: Detailed Basketball for girls and Three Level Basketball for boys. Each coach brings a unique philosophy—whether it’s mastering footwork, refining shooting technique, or fostering mental toughness—while sharing a unified commitment to our mission.
Detailed Basketball Coaches
Specialists in female athlete development, these trainers emphasize skill progression through individualized feedback, creative drills, and leadership workshops designed to empower young women on and off the court.
Three Level Basketball Coaches
Focused on strength, speed, and decision-making, this team works with our boys’ squads to build basketball IQ, competitive drive, and the foundational techniques that translate to higher levels of play.
League Participation
& Competition
Red Storm teams compete in the DuPage Youth Travel Basketball League (DYTBL), the same feeder program trusted by local high schools. Each Red Storm squad is placed into one of DYTBL’s three divisions—Gold, Silver, or Bronze—ensuring matchups that suit their skill level and promote growth. Over the season, our athletes will face the future varsity teams of schools such as Glenbard West, Glenbard East, York, Downers Grove North, Downers Grove South, Geneva, Montini, Riverside‑Brookfield, Batavia, Hinsdale Central, and more, gaining invaluable experience against top-tier regional competition.
