Summer Programming
Speed & Agility Training
This program is for student athletes entering 3rd – 8th grades. Any current (or future) TC students are welcome.
The cost for this program is $160 per athlete, which gets you 8 speed and agility trainings throughout the summer ($20/session/athlete).
The boys sessions will be on Mondays, and the girls sessions will be on Thursdays. There will be 4 sessions in June and 4 sessions in July.
- 3rd/4th Grade Boys: Mondays from 2-3 PM (June: 1,8,15,22; July: 6,13,20,27)
- 5th/6th Grade Boys: Mondays from 3-4 PM (June: 1,8,15,22; July: 6,13,20,27)
- 7th/8th Grade Boys: Mondays from 4-5 PM (June: 1,8,15,22; July: 6,13,20,27)
- 3rd/4th Grade Girls: Thursdays from 2-3 PM (June: 4,11,18,25; July: 9,16,23,30)
- 5th/6th Grade Girls: Thursdays from 3-4 PM (June: 4,11,18,25; July: 9,16,23,30)
- 7th/8th Grade Girls: Thursdays from 4-5 PM (June: 4,11,18,25; July: 9,16,23,30)
Red Storm is partnering with Core 1 Fitness to offer this program. Each session/age group will have a different focus. Class descriptions can be found below. A Red Storm board member or coach will be in attendance at each session offered.
We need a minimum of 10 athletes per session (up to 20 athletes total) in order to offer a class. Please help us spread the word by forwarding this email to anyone you think may be interested.

3rd & 4th Grade Sports Performance Class
This class is designed to build a strong athletic foundation in a fun, positive, and high-energy environment. Athletes will be introduced to coordinated movement drills, sprint mechanics, agility work, balance, and body control while developing confidence in how they move. Training will include upper and lower body strengthening exercises, jumping and landing mechanics, core stability, and reaction-based games that improve overall athleticism. The focus at this age is learning proper movement patterns, improving coordination, and creating a love for training and physical activity.
5th & 6th Grade Sports Performance Class
This class focuses on developing speed, coordination, strength, and overall athletic movement while continuing to build strong training habits. Athletes will work on sprint technique, agility, change of direction, jumping mechanics, and body control through structured drills and competitive activities. Strength training will progress with bodyweight exercises, resistance tools, medicine balls, and introductory movement patterns that safely teach proper technique and athletic posture. The goal is to help athletes move more efficiently, gain confidence, and prepare their bodies for the increasing demands of sports competition.
7th & 8th Grade Sports Performance Class
This class is designed to help middle school athletes improve speed, strength, explosiveness, and overall sports performance in a structured training environment. Athletes will focus on acceleration, agility, plyometrics, and total-body strength development using age-appropriate resistance training methods. Emphasis will be placed on proper movement quality, injury prevention, power development, and building the discipline and work ethic needed for higher levels of competition. The program is designed to prepare athletes for high school athletics by improving athletic performance, confidence, and physical readiness across all sports.
Speed & Agility Training
This summer, Red Storm will run a summer league for returning and prospective Timothy players to keep kids in the gym, build habits, and give coaches a head start on the season.
The program will run from June 2 through August 12, meeting once per week at Timothy Christian. Sessions are open to all Timothy students — players do not need to have been on a Red Storm team last year.
The program is intentionally game-based. Rather than heavy drilling, sessions will emphasize small-sided games (1-on-1, 2-on-2, 3-on-3) that surface the concepts we want players to learn and give coaches a live look at where their teams are heading into the year.
There is no cost to join this league. This league is open to incoming 5th – 8th graders. Full details of the program can be found here. Registration for the program can be found below.

10k Club
Improve your basketball skills this summer in your driveway!
In the Red Storm 10k club, players set a goal of completing 10,000 shots and/or dribbles over the summer. This is free of charge and can be completed in your driveway by yourself. Those who complete the challenge earn membership in the 10K Club for that year and receive a special 10K Club shirt.
Below are the two documents you need for this program:
- 10k Club Tracker – A printable sheet that you can fill out to track your progress
- 10k Club Drill Guidelines – Drills for each grade level that align with what we’ll be coaching in the upcoming season.
We will be collecting the 10k club tracker sheets from all participants after the program is completed in August.
